Routine, deep and special cleaning in childcare centres and after-school care facilities

Summary

The tender covers interior cleaning services for childcare centres and after-school care facilities operated by the City of Chemnitz, divided into three lots. The services include routine cleaning as well as deep, special and post-construction cleaning ordered separately by the contracting authority. The calculated routine cleaning area is 5,884.86 m² in Lot 1, 4,741.88 m² in Lot 2 and 3,237.86 m² in Lot 3. Cleaning is generally performed outside childcare hours, from 17:00 to 22:00, and must be priced using the non-premium working-time hourly rate. The bidder must be able to follow the specified methods for different floor coverings, sanitary and hygiene requirements, and site-specific cleaning frequencies. Laundry handling in childcare centres and after-school facilities must be priced separately and includes a weekly exchange of soiled and clean laundry, preparation of laundry for collection, unpacking, counting, folding and storing clean laundry.
