Bergeshöveder Footbridge Works – Section 2 of the Bevergern Lock Replacement

Summary

Wasserstraßen-Neubauamt Datteln is procuring construction works for Section 2 of the Bevergern lock replacement project, focused on the Bergeshöveder Footbridge over the Dortmund–Ems Canal. The works include dismantling, refurbishing, extending and reinstalling the existing bridge; constructing new quay walls, foundations and two access ramps; and associated earthworks and temporary water management. The main quantities include approximately 10,300 m³ of excavation, 4,900 m³ of placed soil, 4,400 m² of anchored sheet-pile quay wall and 125 m of water-management works.
