Hardenberg Castle renovation, outdoor areas phase BA03.2 – landscaping and civil engineering works

Summary

The City of Velbert is procuring landscaping and civil engineering works for the outdoor areas of Hardenberg Castle, phase BA03.2. The works cover an area of approximately 4,000 m² and include moving about 3,500 tonnes of soil; installing water-engineering stones, natural-stone paving, water-bound paths and gravel-turf paths; and creating lawns and planting areas with around 9,000 perennials and shrubs. The scope also includes outdoor furniture, natural-stone steps and seating walls, 170 m of handrails, two steel footbridges, a curved concrete wall, and the renovation and capping of an existing natural-stone wall.
