Routine Cleaning in the Römer Area
Summary
The contract covers routine and deep cleaning at municipal offices and other public buildings in Frankfurt’s Römer area. Work includes routine cleaning of 7,665.13 m² of indoor space and 464.61 m² of outdoor area at the Römer building, cleaning 79.46 m² of entrance-lodge glazing, and deep cleaning 44,800 linear metres of registry shelving at the town hall’s south wing. The south wing also includes 5,224.87 m² of indoor space, 460 m² of outdoor area and 9.11 m² of entrance-lodge glazing; the north wing includes 10,177.44 m² of indoor space and 6 m² of entrance-lodge glazing. At St Paul’s Church, routine cleaning covers 1,545.96 m² from Monday to Saturday and 13.91 m² on Sundays. Further cleaning is required at the Press and Information Office (821.75 m²), the Municipal Transformation Agency (126.40 m²) and the ICT Office (163.87 m²). The contractor must also allow for 5,000 hours of cleaning during events. Bidders must attend a mandatory site visit before submitting a bid and provide the required cost-calculation worksheet. To demonstrate suitability, they must submit three references for comparable cleaning services at government offices or administrative buildings carried out within the past three years; each reference must cover at least 8,500 m². The bid must include commitments to comply with applicable minimum and collectively agreed wage requirements, as well as the required declarations concerning exclusion grounds, taxes and contributions, and sanctions.
