Monitoring plant species listed in Annexes II and IV of the Habitats Directive in Saxony-Anhalt

Summary

The State Office for Environmental Protection of Saxony-Anhalt is commissioning monitoring of selected plant species listed in Annexes II and IV of the Habitats Directive for the 2025–2030 reporting period. Lot 1 covers Jurinea cyanoides at 20 survey sites; Lot 2 covers Cypripedium calceolus at 10 sites; and Lot 3 covers Buxbaumia viridis at 4 sites and Orthotrichum rogeri at 8 sites. The work includes repeat field surveys, assessment and photographic documentation of sites, reports and mapping, and entry of results into the state monitoring database. Lots 1 and 2 are to be completed by 15 November 2029; Lot 3 is delivered in two stages, by 15 November 2027 and 15 November 2028.
