Continuing education services for practice instructors

Summary

The University Hospital Düsseldorf is seeking a service to deliver mandatory continuing education for practice instructors from 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2028: 26 training days in total, including 16 in-person days and 10 live online days via MS Teams. Each course lasts one day and comprises eight 45-minute teaching units between 08:00 and 15:30. Training is to be delivered in German for up to 20 participants per course. It must satisfy the statutory continuing-education obligations and have a vocational-pedagogical focus. The four subject areas are methods and didactics for practice instruction; professional boundaries, taboo subjects, violence and threats; learner support, counselling and learning prerequisites; and handling challenges, conflicts and legal frameworks. At least two courses must be offered in each subject area. The provider must develop teaching concepts and handle preparation, delivery and follow-up. Participants must have an accessible channel for questions, and the provider must plan arrangements to avoid cancellations when trainers are unavailable. The contract may be extended up to three times for 12 months, through 31 March 2031 at the latest. The bid must state the price for all 26 days, including preparation and follow-up; travel, accommodation, parking and other ancillary costs cannot be charged separately. Bids are evaluated on price (50%) and the quality of the teaching concepts (50%). The provider must demonstrate the required experience and supply trainers with the required qualifications, as well as a concept for each course.
