C-ITS On-Board Unit System for Public Transport Priority

Summary

ÜSTRA Hannoversche Verkehrsbetriebe is procuring a complete C-ITS-based traffic-signal priority system for its city buses in Hanover. The supply includes vehicle on-board units, antennas and installation accessories, interface development and integration with the on-board computer, a mobile test unit, software, testing, commissioning and maintenance. At least 31 buses are to be equipped, with options for up to 39 additional buses. The procurement is a single-lot framework agreement, and the system is to be implemented within 15 months, no later than 18 months after contract award.
