Recovery of Waste Paper in Aurich District

Summary

MKW – Materialkreislauf- und Kompostwirtschaft GmbH & Co. KG is procuring the material recovery of waste paper, paperboard and cardboard packaging collected in Aurich District, Germany. The scope covers the municipal share and packaging quantities for which the packaging systems opt for joint recovery. The annual quantity may range from 8,500 to 12,800 tonnes; based on recent volumes, approximately 10,900 tonnes per year are expected. The service is scheduled to start on 1 January 2027, with the contract running through 2028 and a possible one-year extension, up to 31 December 2029.
