Summary

The tender concerns garden and green space maintenance for the Haus der Geschichte museum in Germany. The contract includes regular outdoor maintenance scheduled primarily on Mondays; during the growth period from April to September tasks are to be distributed so that maintenance actions are performed roughly every 14 days. An annual maintenance plan must be prepared and submitted. The bidder must designate a permanent supervisor with landscape gardener training and at least five years of experience as foreman; continuity of maintenance staff is valued. All fertilizers and plant care must be appropriate to the plant species, using environmentally friendly and water-efficient methods; plant protection products should be as environmentally friendly as possible. Any out-of-rhythm or additional maintenance tasks are to be performed in agreement with the client on an hourly basis, and maintenance reports must be submitted to the client within three working days of execution. In addition, the bidder must meet the minimum requirements defined in the participation conditions and provide evidence with the bid. The scope includes fertilization of planting beds, care of beds and trees, hedge trimming, rose and rhododendron care, lawn and border maintenance, path and bank maintenance, as well as care of rooftop greenery, ponds and adjacent water features, and tree safety inspections.
