Framework Agreement for the Supply of Firefighting Helmets and Fire-Protection Cloths

Summary

The City of Duisburg is seeking a framework agreement for the supply of firefighting helmets and helmet-mounted fire-protection cloths for its fire service. The agreement runs from 2027 to 2028, with an option to extend it for 12 months, through 31 December 2029. The estimated and maximum call-off quantity is 300 units of each product in each of 2027, 2028 and 2029; there is no minimum purchase commitment. Goods must be delivered to Duisburg, and each call-off must be fulfilled within six weeks. Bidders must submit an offer for both products, together with the required technical information, user and washing instructions, certificates and test evidence. Repaired garments must be returned within 14 days, or within 48 hours in extremely urgent cases. Price is the sole award criterion. Bids must be submitted electronically, in German and using the required forms; paper bids are not accepted. The deadline for questions is 20 October 2026, and the bid deadline is 30 October 2026 at 10:00. Bidders must also provide at least two references from the last three years, meet their statutory tax and social-security obligations, and submit the required sanctions declaration.
