Nutrient analyses in Lower Saxony surface waters (3rd cycle)

Summary

The Lower Saxony Water Management, Coastal Defence and Nature Conservation Agency (NLWKN) is procuring monthly sampling and nutrient analysis at 248 surface-water monitoring sites in the Ems and Vechte river basins, over 12 months from approximately February 2027 to January 2028, for about 3,000 samples. Each sample will be tested for nitrogen and phosphorus parameters and on-site indicators including pH, electrical conductivity, water temperature, dissolved oxygen and oxygen saturation. The contract is divided into two geographic lots: Ems South and Vechte (about 124 sites) and Ems North (about 124 sites). Quarterly analysis of chloride, sulphate, TOC and DOC may also be ordered, subject to available funding.
