Tafamidis original-product rebate contracts 2025–19

Summary

The tender concerns original-product rebate agreements for medicines containing tafamidis with the German health insurer TK. This is an open-admission procedure: TK offers the same contract terms to all eligible pharmaceutical companies, conducts no individual negotiations and grants no partner exclusivity. The agreement runs for up to 24 months from 1 June 2025 and ends no later than 31 May 2027, regardless of the date it is signed. If patent protection or market exclusivity for the active substance ends earlier, the agreement ends at the end of that month. Companies may join at any time during the contract period. Participation is open to companies that offer or market a medicine containing tafamidis, or credibly demonstrate that they intend to do so during the contract period.
