Earthworks and specialist deep foundation works for the Aqua Siwa indoor swimming pool in Ratzeburg

Summary

The City of Ratzeburg, represented by BIG Städtebau GmbH, is procuring earthworks and specialist deep foundation works for the replacement Aqua Siwa indoor swimming pool. The single contract includes site setup and access areas, excavation and construction of a work platform, approximately 174 full-displacement bored piles with a total estimated length of 3,200 metres, pile-head cutting and integrity testing, groundwater lowering and treatment, and removal of excavated soil. The estimated quantities also include 1,300 m³ of excavation and a 2,000 m³ work platform.
