Framework agreement for replacement Palmberg office furniture

Summary

Chemnitz City is seeking a framework agreement for replacement Palmberg office furniture for its school buildings, including desks, side tables, mobile drawer units, cabinets and shelving. The supplier must deliver the furniture to the required rooms, assemble and install it, remove the packaging and, when requested, demonstrate or explain how to use the equipment. Only new Palmberg products are allowed, and alternative bids are not accepted. The agreement runs from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2029. The estimated annual value is approximately EUR 96,725 excluding VAT and the maximum total value is EUR 348,210 excluding VAT; orders depend on actual need and are not guaranteed. The specified products account for about 90% of expected demand, with an option to order additional items from the manufacturer’s range worth up to EUR 25,000 excluding VAT. Price is the sole award criterion. Bids are due by 5 November 2026 at 08:30 and must include three references for comparable supplies from the previous three years, the required declarations and a completed price schedule. The successful bidder must provide a binding product-to-item list within two weeks of award. Prices are fixed for the first 12 months; later adjustments may be requested once per contract year, must follow the specified consumer price index and are capped at ±5% per adjustment period.
