Summary

The tender concerns a framework agreement for road maintenance in Bremen, mainly the renovation of paved surfaces and drainage channels, construction and renewal of access crossings, accessibility elements and cycle lanes. Works will be ordered as individual assignments in several city districts, with individual areas generally ranging from 50 m² to 1,000 m². During school holidays, at least five individual measures may need to be carried out simultaneously. The contractor must plan and implement traffic safety, obtain the required traffic orders, coordinate with the relevant authorities and public transport operator, maintain traffic safety throughout the works, supply the materials, manage waste and provide surveying, measurement and daily reporting. Traffic safety equipment must be restored within 60 minutes after damage is identified or reported. A framework agreement does not guarantee any minimum volume or turnover; the authority may extend it three times for 12 months each.
