Structural Noise Protection in Sensitive Areas

Summary

The tender concerns research and development of adaptable noise-protection structures for noise-sensitive areas along roads where conventional noise barriers or tunnel-like solutions cannot be used. The work includes a systematic literature review, structural design and stability modelling, development of selected concepts, and testing their effectiveness through simulations for at least one model area. The solutions must meet the technical requirements of ZTV-ING, including stability, durability and traffic safety, and reduce noise levels by at least 3 dB(A), with a target reduction of 5 dB(A) or more. The work must conclude with an assessment of feasibility and cost-effectiveness and recommendations for implementation.
