Sewage sludge transport and treatment 2027

Summary

The tender covers the collection, transport and recovery of dewatered sewage sludge from the Staßfurt wastewater treatment plant in 2027 under a framework agreement. It is divided into two lots: one for transporting the sludge and one for arranging its recovery or treatment. The estimated quantity is approximately 3,000 tonnes per year. Each lot may be extended one year at a time for 2028 and 2029. Depending on the lot, the contractor must arrange collection, transport and delivery at the destination, provide weighing and treatment records, and ensure that the sludge is handled in accordance with applicable law. The transport service includes supplying and exchanging suitable sludge containers, with collections taking place during the treatment plant’s specified operating hours. Bidders must submit the required registrations, certificates, at least two comparable references, proof of insurance and evidence that the proposed recovery facility is ready to accept the sludge. Price is the sole award criterion, and alternative bids are not permitted. Bids must be submitted in German electronically by 10 November 2026 at 10:00.
