New construction of Ruwertal School in Waldrach

Summary

The Trier-Saarburg district administration is procuring the construction of a geothermal ground-loop system for Ruwertal School in Waldrach. The works comprise 22 boreholes, each 200 metres deep, and approximately 4,400 metres of ground-source probes in total; one test borehole, including a thermal response test, was completed in 2024. The scope includes drilling, probe installation, grouting, flushing, pressure testing, filling and documentation, as well as connecting the probes to a manifold chamber and installing the brine pipes to the building.
