Installation of elevator systems for the Potsdam housing development

Summary

The contract covers the installation of three fully operational elevator systems in buildings B1, C1a and C2 of a housing development on the site of the former Federal Directorate General of Customs in Potsdam. The elevators must comply with DIN EN 81-20 and DIN EN 81-50 and achieve energy efficiency class A under ISO 25745. Type 02 elevators under DIN EN 81-70 are required; they must accommodate, among others, a wheelchair user with a class A or B wheelchair accompanied by another person. The special design must allow for a 360 mm pit depth, 2,610 mm headroom and a speed of 1.0 m/s.
