Roof waterproofing (VE021), CVK, DHZC

Summary

Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin is procuring roof waterproofing works for the new German Heart Center at its Campus Virchow-Klinikum, including the emergency department and central sterilisation facilities. The works include removal of approximately 720 m² of temporary waterproofing, installation of approximately 1,025 m² of vapour barrier, 8,750 m² of foam-glass flat-roof insulation and 8,750 m² of bituminous waterproofing. They also include approximately 2,275 m of roof-edge finishes, 2,400 m² of gravel ballast, 225 m of self-supporting roof guardrails and 75 m of a cable-based fall-protection system.
