Environmentally friendly office furniture for the Stühlinger town hall and framework agreement

Summary

The City of Freiburg is procuring environmentally friendly office furniture for the initial fit-out of the new town hall in Stühlinger and for municipal departments under a framework agreement. The procurement has three lots: office furniture and meeting chairs; office swivel chairs with fixed seats and mesh backs; and office swivel chairs with movable or lockable seats and upholstered backs. The initial fit-out comprises approximately 700 desks, 190 meeting tables and 500 cabinets in Lot 1, and about 475 office chairs in each of Lots 2 and 3; delivery and installation are expected to begin in June 2027 and be completed by early July. The framework agreement runs from May 2027 to April 2029, with up to three 12-month extensions until April 2032; its maximum value is EUR 4,369,750.
