BBS Alfeld fire safety renovation – external steel staircase

Summary

Landkreis Hildesheim is procuring a new external steel escape staircase for the fourth construction phase at the BBS vocational school’s main building in Alfeld. The work includes designing, fabricating and installing an approximately 3.4-metre-high, two-flight staircase, with 18 grating steps, approximately 8 m² of grating surfaces, the supporting structure and the required concrete foundations. Up to five hours each of foreman, skilled-worker and labourer time are also provided for unforeseen work.
