Urban and open-space design competition for the former hospital site in Lörrach

Summary

The City of Lörrach is holding an open, two-stage urban and landscape design competition for the approximately 3.5-hectare former hospital site. The aim is to plan a mixed urban neighbourhood for housing and healthcare, recreation, social and commercial uses, with public spaces and climate adaptation measures. The competition concerns service phase 2 of the design; it will be followed by a negotiated procedure, with the intention of awarding one of the prize winners a contract for service phase 3.
