Structural engineering design services under HOAI 2021 Section 51, supplemented by the BIM process

Summary

Ostalb District is procuring structural engineering design services for the new regional hospital in Essingen under Section 51 and Annex 14 of HOAI 2021, supplemented by the BIM process. The scope covers the intended service phases 1–9 and will be commissioned in stages. The project comprises the hospital main building, including the service yard and energy centre, a health centre, and an education and nursing centre; the hospital is planned to have approximately 650 beds and 49,000 m² of usable floor area.
