Acoustic and noise-impact planning for the modernization of Uchte Secondary School

Summary

The Nienburg/Weser district, represented by the Uchte joint municipality, is procuring specialist planning services for room acoustics, building acoustics and noise-impact protection as part of the modernization of Uchte Secondary School. The campus buildings date from the 1930s and 1950s, and the options to be examined include renovating and reorganizing the existing buildings or partially demolishing them and constructing new buildings. The usable floor area is planned to decrease from approximately 6,000 m² to 4,000 m². The work is expected to be carried out in phases while the school remains operational, through 2031.
