Track, switch and rail renewal at Germersheim station, line 3400

Summary

The tender covers renewal of switches W7, W10, W11, W39, W40 and W42 at Germersheim station with complete ballast replacement, renewal works on the Germersheim–Wörth section and tracks 6, 7 and 8, construction of shunting paths, geotextile installation, level-crossing renewal, and rail-safety and construction-related services. The works in Germersheim are expected to run from 7 February 2027 to 14 August 2027. Tenders must be submitted electronically in German by 24 September 2026 at 11:00; the tender must remain valid for 46 days. Price is the only award criterion. DB InfraGO AG prequalification is mandatory for the track and switch construction works. A 5% performance bond and a 3% defects-liability bond are also required.
