Renewal of the Process Control System at the Wastewater Treatment Plant

Summary

The City of Göttingen is procuring the renewal of the process control system at its wastewater treatment plant. The works include a new SCADA system and virtualised control centre, conversion of the plant bus from Profibus to Profinet, upgrades to 13 automation stations, and connections to 15 remote facilities. The scope also includes a maintenance system for 2,500 assets, cybersecurity monitoring, communications infrastructure including approximately 2,025 m and 700 m of fibre-optic cable, installation, commissioning and documentation. Works are scheduled from 8 February 2027 to 1 May 2028.
