Eidertal Ecological Credit Site 5 – Vegetation Clearance and Fence Construction

Summary

The Stiftung Naturschutz Schleswig-Holstein is procuring works on three conservation areas in Meimersdorf, Kiel, in two lots. Lot 1 covers vegetation and soil works, including selective shrub clearance, clearing the fence route, minor ground modelling, and chipping and removing cut vegetation. Lot 2 covers removal and disposal of approximately 2,890 m of old barbed-wire fencing, a gate and site waste—including about 85 tyres—and construction of approximately 1,700 m of new two-wire electric fencing.
