Site clearance for the western ring link

Summary

Kommunale Wasserwerke Leipzig GmbH is procuring site-clearance works for the western ring link in five felling areas in Großzschocher, Markkleeberg and at Lake Cospuden. The works include felling and removing 96 individual trees or large shrubs, clearing 610 m² of woodland, 400 m² of shrub and undergrowth and 225 m² of bramble, cutting a 410 m clearance profile, mowing 150 m² of embankment and filling root holes with approximately 100 m³ of soil. The contract also includes traffic and vegetation protection, unexploded-ordnance surveys over approximately 2,300 m², a temporary ditch crossing, and the supply and installation of eight nesting aids. No lots are specified; the works are scheduled for 1–28 February 2027.
