Construction of Test Areas 1 and 2 (Optional) at the Rusendorf Residual Open-Pit Site

Summary

The procurement covers construction of Test Area 1 and, as an option, Test Area 2 at the Rusendorf residual open-pit site, in preparation for further planning of fire-control measures. Works for Test Area 1 include site setup, access and platform construction, earthworks, delivery and placement of mineral aggregate and coarse stone, geogrid installation, temperature-measuring points, surveying and documentation. The optional Test Area 2 comprises a surcharge test mound, measuring markers and monitoring, surveying and documentation. The works are scheduled from 30 November 2026 to 22 January 2027, with the structural completion of the test areas due by 18 December 2026.
