Modernisation of a photovoltaic system (Cape Verde)

Summary

GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel is procuring the modernisation of the rooftop photovoltaic system at the Ocean Science Center Mindelo in Mindelo, Cape Verde. The works cover two roof areas and a planned system of 180 modules with a capacity of approximately 78.30 kWp, together with a lithium battery storage system of at least 197 kWh and integration with the existing diesel generator and grid. The single package includes surveys, design, dismantling and storage of the existing equipment, supply and installation, monitoring, testing, commissioning and documentation.
