Advance vegetation clearance for the Rhine main dike in Otterstadt

Summary

The Structure and Approval Directorate South is procuring advance vegetation clearance for the Rhine main dike works in Otterstadt, covering the section from dike kilometre 5+245 to 7+090 and two work areas. The works include clearing approximately 3,000 m², felling trees and removing bushes and hedges, pruning vegetation and establishing a clearance profile, and collecting and disposing of the resulting material. Five existing signposts with signs are to be removed, stored securely and reinstalled, and approximately 60 m of temporary fencing is to be erected.
