Auditing compliance for environmentally compatible Christmas-tree cultivation in forests

Summary

Wald und Holz NRW is procuring a framework agreement for regular audits of businesses and their contract areas used for environmentally compatible Christmas-tree and decorative-branch cultivation in forests. The audits will cover an estimated 22 businesses per year from 2026 to 2029, using a three-year cycle: on-site inspections in the first audit year and questionnaire and document reviews in the second and third years. The estimated quantities also include follow-up reviews and unsuccessful on-site visits; no minimum or maximum volume is guaranteed. The contract is not divided into lots.
