Acoustic porpoise monitoring with PODs from 2026 onward

Summary

The contracting authority, Schleswig-Holstein’s coastal protection, national park and marine conservation agency, is procuring acoustic monitoring of harbour porpoises in the Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea. The service covers click detectors at two fixed and three optional monitoring stations, installation of mooring systems, equipment maintenance, data collection and analysis. It also includes annual data delivery and an accessible final report. The contract runs until 31 October 2027 and may be extended by one year.
