Professional development for school leaders in education for sustainable development: programme support and coaching

Summary

The Lower Saxony State Institute for School Quality Development is procuring technical and organisational support for an education for sustainable development (ESD) professional-development programme for school leaders, together with individual coaching for participating schools. The services include adapting and managing the digital learning environment, technical support for participants, group and orientation sessions, and support at selected in-person events. Two parallel programme groups are planned each year, with 20–30 participants per group, alongside an ESD conference for up to 150 participants; the contract is not divided into lots. The agreement is planned for the 2026/2027 and 2027/2028 programme years, with a possible two-year extension subject to funding, evaluation and need.
