Repair and replacement construction of the bridge over Torgauer Straße

Summary

The City of Leipzig is procuring the repair and replacement construction of the bridge over Torgauer Straße, which will carry a pedestrian and cycle route. The works include excavation and backfilling of 1,400 m³, demolition and construction of 130 m³ of concrete, removal of 250 tonnes of steel, 350 m² of concrete repair using sprayed concrete, and the design and construction of a 27-metre-span, 6.8-metre-wide aluminium structure. The procurement is not divided into lots, and the works are scheduled from 22 February to 29 October 2027.
