Renaturalisation of the Lossa River, sections 13–16

Summary

The contract covers the restoration of sections 13–16 of the Lossa River near Kleinneuhausen and Großneuhausen. The works are intended to improve river habitats and natural bank diversity. They include placing deadwood to guide the flow and provide shelter for aquatic life, removing selected bank and slope reinforcements, adding gravel or other bed material, removing non-native woody plants, and planting native trees and shrubs. The river course is to be altered and new meanders created in sections 15 and 16. The planned planting comprises 87 standard trees and 84 shrubs in total. The contract is not divided into lots and does not include design services. The works are scheduled for 16 November 2026 to 31 July 2027. Bids must be submitted electronically in German by 16 October 2026 at 13:00. The bidder must provide proof of prequalification or a declaration using Form 124; detailed participation and compliance requirements must be checked in the tender documents.
