Mechanical works for the primary clarifier scraper at Winsen wastewater treatment plant

Summary

The contract covers conversion of the existing contact basin to remove primary sludge to the primary clarifier as part of the expansion of the Winsen wastewater treatment plant and its transition to anaerobic sludge stabilisation. The work includes dismantling, excavating and temporarily storing the existing rotating scraper; removing and disposing of components no longer required; and replacing worn parts. The new primary clarifier scraper requires electrical, instrumentation, control and automation equipment, a floor scraper, a scum pipe and cable duct with slip-ring assembly, a primary sludge suction pipe, and a blower with air pipes. The scope also includes installing the scraper on the completed structure and relocating the existing overflow edge in the primary clarifier. The planned work period is 5 April to 17 December 2027. Tenders must be submitted in German. Bidders must demonstrate suitability through either registration in the prequalification register for construction companies or a completed suitability self-declaration, and must provide information demonstrating technical competence.
