Tyre maintenance and supply contract for commercial vehicles

Summary

Rhein-Hunsrück Entsorgung is procuring maintenance, availability and supply services for tyres used on its commercial vehicles. From 1 January 2027, the contractor must ensure that the vehicles are correctly equipped with tyres throughout the contract, provide tyre changes and address recurring wear, carry out repairs for damage, and establish a breakdown service that the contracting authority can call on when needed. The initial contract runs until 31 December 2029 and renews in successive 12-month periods unless terminated; written notice must reach the other party at least three months before the end of the contract. The contract is not divided into lots, and price is the sole award criterion. The bidder must provide information on comparable turnover and experience for the last three financial years; no minimum turnover or reference-value threshold is specified.
