Procurement of a Multi-GPU Workstation for AI Teaching

Summary

The tender is for a professional, expandable multi-GPU workstation, including the required hardware, peripherals and five years of manufacturer support or on-site service. The system is intended for artificial intelligence and machine-learning teaching, parallel use by approximately 50 students, and concurrent small to medium workloads under Linux. It is not intended to function as a large AI cloud or to train large language models at scale. The mandatory configuration includes two processors, at least 256 GB of ECC memory, four professional GPUs with at least 24 GB of memory each, and at least 5.76 TB of NVMe storage. The maximum price for the base configuration is EUR 26,050.42 excluding VAT or EUR 31,000 including VAT. Price carries 30% of the evaluation weighting and quality 70%. Offers must be submitted electronically in German; alternative offers are not permitted. Delivery is due no later than 10 weeks after award. The submission deadline is 6 October 2026 at 12:00.
