Electrical works for the renovation of the “Golden Star” building in Borna

Summary

The procurement covers electrical installation works under DIN 18382 for the listed historic “Golden Star” building in Borna. The work includes site setup and the supply and installation of a main low-voltage distribution board and several sub-distribution boards, approximately 8,900 m of power cables and 7,000 m of low-voltage, fire-alarm and data cables. It also includes cable support systems, earthing and equipotential bonding, lighting and central-battery emergency lighting, a fire alarm system with fire-service interfaces and a smoke aspiration system, a smoke and heat exhaust system, KNX building automation, DALI lighting control, and a data network with fibre-optic infrastructure. Fire-stopping, documentation, measurements, inspections and commissioning are also required; design services are not included. The works are scheduled from 4 January to 17 December 2027. Bids must be submitted electronically in German by 9:00 a.m. on 26 October 2026. Price is the sole award criterion; variant bids and multiple main bids are not permitted. The bidder must provide the required qualification and technical documents, name a qualified project manager, senior electrician/foreman and fire-alarm specialist, and demonstrate the required trade registration, insurance and professional qualifications. If the contract value is at least EUR 250,000 excluding VAT, a performance guarantee of 5% of the contract amount including VAT is required; the defects-liability guarantee is 3% of the interim payments total at acceptance.
