Replacement of the drinking water pipeline in Borna-Zedtlitz

Summary

The contract covers the replacement of approximately 250 m of DN 200 ductile-iron drinking water pipeline in the Zedtlitz area of Borna. The works include approximately 270 m³ of excavation, delivery of 130 m³ of soil, backfilling 110 m³ of pipe trench, installation of one water meter chamber and one drinking water service connection. No design work is required, and the contract is not divided into lots. The works are scheduled for 15 February to 30 April 2027. Bids must be submitted electronically in German by 10:00 on 12 October 2026 and remain valid until 4 November 2026. Alternative bids are permitted, but multiple main bids are not. Bidders must provide proof of prequalification and references for at least two similar projects from the past three years. A 5% performance bond and a 3% defects-liability security calculated on the final invoice amount, including amendments, are required. The award criteria are set out in the tender documents.
