Felling works on the right-bank dyke along the Hengersberger Ohe 2026/27

Summary

The Danube expansion project Donauausbau Straubing - Vilshofen, Section 2 (Deggendorf – Vilshofen), in the Gundelau/Auterwörth flood protection area, includes felling works on the right bank dyke of the Deich Hengersberger Ohe. The works comprise felling about 374 individual trees (each stem counted for multi-stemmed trees), trimming about 120 branches, and clearing roughly 10,800 m2 of hedges and brush. The works are to be carried out on the Deich Hengersberger Ohe on the right bank within Niederalteich, Hengersberg and Winzer near Ohe (km 2.1 to km 4.2). The contract is not divided into lots (one lot). Bids are to be submitted electronically; start date is 01 December 2026 and completion date 28 February 2027. The award criteria specify price as 100% of the evaluation; payments follow VOB/B; joint and several liability with an authorized representative.
