Updating area-based model input parameters for the GWN-BW soil water balance model

Summary

The contract concerns updating area-based input parameters for the GWN-BW soil water balance model for Rhineland-Palatinate. The supplier shall produce a harmonised parameter dataset (land use, soils, topography and sealing) and ensure data consistency for model execution. A model run for 1950–2025 will be performed and compared with previous results of total runoff and groundwater recharge. Deliverables include an updated parameter dataset (GeoPackage) and model results for 1950–2025, along with documentation and a concise final report.
