Demolition and hazardous substance remediation

Summary

The tender covers the complete demolition of a sports hall in Jänschwalder Straße 4, Berlin, including its social facilities and an adjacent gardening support facility, the separation and proper disposal of demolition materials, and the creation of a level ground surface. Materials containing hazardous substances, in particular mineral fibres and asbestos, have been identified, so proper hazardous-substance remediation must be carried out before the remaining demolition works. The tender must be submitted electronically in German by 25 September 2026 at 10:15. The contract is not divided into lots, and the performance period stated in the notice is from 19 October 2026 to 22 February 2027. The bidder must demonstrate suitability through a ULV or prequalification-register entry or a self-declaration of suitability and must provide the required competence and other evidence. Berlin requirements on minimum employee remuneration, collective-agreement pay, equal treatment and the obligations of subcontractors must also be taken into account.
