Maintenance of the Southern Amphibian Facility and Northern Amphibian Facilities

Summary

The procurement covers maintenance of amphibian guidance and crossing facilities in the northern and southern Eifel regions, divided into two lots. The work includes mowing areas around the facilities and animal routes, collecting and removing cut material, cutting back shrubs and other woody vegetation, and cleaning box drains with grates. Maintenance is scheduled for winter 2026 and twice a year in 2027–2029; the contractor must notify the contracting authority at least three days in advance and schedule mowing outside the annual amphibian migration periods. The bid must be submitted electronically in German by 7 October 2026 at 10:30. Bidders may tender for one or more lots, but multiple main bids and variant bids are not allowed. Price is the only award criterion.
