Construction of the Kleine Striegis flood retention basin – Lot 4: civil engineering structures

Summary

The tender covers construction of the Kleine Striegis flood retention basin near Hainichen, including a reservoir of approximately 270,000 m³, an approximately 281 m long rockfill dam up to 7.05 m high, earthworks, a reinforced-concrete culvert structure, a flood spillway, hydraulic gates and monitoring equipment. The works also include demolition of the existing bridge and construction of a reinforced-concrete frame bridge with an approximately 6.60 m span and total width of 5.00 m, partial demolition of two weir sills, and river and bed protection works. The scope includes reinforced-concrete, deep and earthworks, steel hydraulic engineering and groundwater lowering. Tenders must be submitted electronically in German by 16 October 2026 at 11:00. Price accounts for 75% of the award criteria and quality criteria for 25%. A 5% performance guarantee and a 3% defects-liability guarantee, both by bank guarantee, are required.
