Lot 44 – Corrosion protection works, renovation of the structural envelope of the former Wellner site, Structures 1 and 2 – construction of a cold-storage facility

Summary

The tender concerns corrosion protection works and construction of a cold-storage facility as part of the renovation of the structural envelope of Structures 1 and 2 at the former Wellner site in Aue-Bad Schlema. The works include erecting, dismantling and maintaining 6 mobile scaffolds; installing 280 m² of dust-proof protection for windows and doors; applying 510 m² of air-drying natural oil by spraying to seal rust; protecting 1,320 m² of flooring with painter’s fleece; and handling and disposing of 550 kg of protective covering. No design services are required. Tenders must be submitted electronically in German by 22 September 2026 at 12:00. Work must start within 5 days after contract award and be completed within 30 working days after commencement. Variants and multiple main tenders are not permitted, and the award criteria are set out in the tender documents. Joint tenderers are jointly and severally liable and must appoint an authorised representative. The bidder must demonstrate experience with comparable works and provide the required registration, tax and social security evidence. A performance security of 5% of the gross contract value is required if the contract value excluding VAT is at least EUR 250,000. In that case, the defects-liability security is 3% of the advance-payment total including VAT calculated at acceptance.
