Stair tread coating

Summary

The tender concerns coating stair treads and installing anti-slip marking strips at the Museum of Natural History in Berlin. The works include cleaning and preparing the substrate, applying a white two-component epoxy resin in accordance with DIN 18040, treating 262 stairs of approximately 2.20 metres and two stairs of 6.50 metres, additional work on granite stairs, impregnating approximately 200 m² of stair surfaces, and, if required, ventilation and labour-hour works. The tender must be submitted electronically in German by 6 October 2026 at 10:00; the tender remains binding until 27 November 2026. Price is the only award criterion. Work must begin no later than 18 working days after receipt of the contract letter and must be completed within 18 working days after commencement.
