Overhead contact line construction for the Delitzscher Landstraße railway bridge

Summary

The tender concerns overhead contact line construction during the replacement construction of the Delitzscher Landstraße railway bridge in the Leipzig area. The works include phased dismantling and new construction of overhead line systems in four construction stages, including approximately 710 m of new contact wire and 1,170 m of new messenger wire, dismantling of approximately 1,000 m of contact wire and 640 m of messenger wire, and construction of four cross-span structures, four cross-tensioning systems, eight registration pull-offs and 16 anchoring arrangements. Contact protection must also be installed in the bridge area, and approximately 84 m² of existing contact protection must be dismantled. The works are scheduled from 16 February 2027 to 5 June 2027 and must follow Deutsche Bahn’s deadlines for the four construction stages. The tender must be submitted electronically in German by 7 October 2026 at 10:00. Price is the only award criterion. Variant tenders and multiple main tenders are not permitted. The contract performance security is 5%, and the defects liability security is 3% of the amount specified in the notice.
